A Calmer, Cleaner Place to Heal.
The privacy curtain on bay 12 never quite closes, the ward is never dark enough for a patient to sleep, and the afternoon sun bakes the day clinic and the atrium. New Way shades a whole healthcare facility so every bed has proper privacy, every room is calm and dark enough to rest, and the glare and heat stay outside. Here is how to do it across a clinical building, to the standards an inspection asks for.
Trusted, Loved And Installed By
Every Space Working for the Patient.
Whether it is the ward bays, the patient rooms, the day clinics, or the atrium, one team measures, makes, fits, and backs the shading across the whole facility, to clinical standards.
Privacy and dignity at every bed
Antimicrobial cubicle curtains on a ceiling track that draws fully around each bay, with a hookless header so a curtain changes in a minute or two, not twenty. Privacy holds, and the cubicle stays hygienic between patients.

Rooms calm and dark enough to rest
Blackout and quiet motorized Lutron shades in patient rooms and VIP wards, so a patient can sleep through a bright afternoon and a shade closing on a schedule does not wake them. Rest is part of recovery.

Glare and heat kept out of clinical areas
Sunscreen shades cut the glare on screens and bedsides, and Renson Fixscreen on the atrium and the hot facade rejects the heat before it reaches the glass, so day clinics and waiting areas stay comfortable and the cooling works less.

How to Shade Your Facility With New Way
Three steps from the facility walk-through to a calmer, cleaner place to heal.
1. Walk the facility with us.
The ward bays, the patient rooms, the day clinics, the atrium, and the hot facades. We map what each space needs and the compliance side, and we can help correct the tender language before it goes out.
2. We measure, make, and fit it.
Cubicle track and antimicrobial curtains for the wards, blackout and quiet shades for the rooms, exterior shading for the atrium, fabricated in our own Puncak Alam facility to clinical specs, with the certificate pack ready for the file.
3. We install and back it.
Phased around occupied wards and low-traffic windows, by a team that has delivered hospital cubicle systems since 2008, then supported by a named local contact and warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the privacy curtains actually close fully and stay hygienic between patients?
Yes, and that is the point of doing it properly. As of 2026, New Way fits antimicrobial hospital curtains that are 99.9 percent bacterial-reduction tested to ISO 20743 against MRSA, E. coli, and S. aureus, and durable through 50-plus wash cycles, on a 6063-T5 aluminum cubicle track that draws fully around the bay rather than stopping short. The hookless header then cuts the curtain change from 10 to 20 minutes to 1 to 2, with no ladder, so the change cycle your infection team sets is one the staff can actually keep. The hygiene holds because both the fabric and the routine are looked after, not just the fabric.
Can patient rooms get dark and quiet enough for someone to actually rest?
Yes. As of 2026, New Way fabricates Lutron motorized shades for patient rooms and VIP wards, including Triathlon, Serena, Sivoia QS, and Palladiom, paired with blackout fabric and side channels so a room goes properly dark in the daytime. The quietest Lutron motors run around 35 dBA, so a shade closing on a schedule does not wake a sleeping patient. Rooms can be set to lower the shades at rest time and lift them gently later, or left on a simple switch by the bed. Rest is part of recovery, and a dark, quiet room is one of the easiest parts of it to get right.
Does the shading meet the standards a clinical building needs?
Yes. As of 2026, the cubicle system is built to BS 6095 for the track, BS 5867 Part 2 Type C for curtain flammability, ISO 20743 for antimicrobial performance, and ISO 9001 for manufacturing, with M1 and NFPA 701 fire classifications also met. The window fabric is M1 fire-rated (NF P92-503), PVC-free Trevira CS, GREENGUARD Gold and OEKO-TEX certified, and the shades are cordless or motorized for safety in patient areas. The track is engineered for a 10 to 20 year service life, not a 2-year finish. Send the building’s specification and the team confirms which products meet it before anything is ordered.
Can you handle a whole facility, and install around occupied wards?
Yes. As of 2026, New Way installs with its own team and phases the work around occupied wards and low-traffic windows, so clinical areas keep running. Because the cubicle track, the curtains, and the shades are measured and fabricated in our own Puncak Alam facility before installation day, the on-site time per bay or room is short. We agree the sequence and the access times with your facilities and M&E team up front, and a phased rollout suits a hospital that cannot close a ward. After installation, you have a named local contact and warranty support, so a later adjustment is a quick call.
Can the motorized shading go in without upsetting hospital IT or medical equipment?
Yes, and this is usually the first question the IT department asks. As of 2026, New Way’s motorized hospital line runs on enterprise-grade Lutron control on a dedicated Clear Connect frequency band with VLAN segmentation, so it does not interfere with medical equipment and does not widen the network attack surface. Aqara is used only where the hospital IT policy explicitly permits consumer-grade Zigbee on a dedicated VLAN. We engage the IT department directly during the spec review and provide the frequency and VLAN documentation, so the signoff happens before the order, not after.
Can you do the wards, the patient rooms, and the atrium, indoors and out, from one supplier?
Yes. As of 2026, New Way shades a whole healthcare facility from one fabricator: cubicle curtain track and antimicrobial curtains in the wards, blackout and quiet Lutron shading in the patient rooms and VIP wards, Premium Hotel Ripple drapery in receptions, chapels, and boardrooms, and Renson Fixscreen exterior shading on the atrium edges, rooftop terraces, and hot facades. As the authorized fabricator for Lutron, Renson, and Aqara, New Way carries the indoor and outdoor scope together, so the finishes are coordinated, the compliance is handled once, and one team is accountable across the building rather than separate suppliers for the wards, the rooms, and the facade.
